In April 1967, Brown Elevator was incorporated by Gerald Brown Sr in the State of Connecticut. Brown Elevator has grown steadily over the years from a one man operation to a multimillion dollar company of today. By the early 1980's, his sons also joined the business and now own and operate the company. Brown Elevator has expanded from a simple service based company to also include sales and construction of new elevators and major modernization's of existing elevators. In the earlier days, customers came to Brown Elevator because of the personalized service they received from "Brownie". When a job needed to be done...they could count on it being done properly and in a timely manner. We have developed our guaranteed service program in response to our customers needs which insures we will make consecutive monthly service visits to the elevators we have on service. The number of elevators on our mechanics service routes have been controlled to allow them time to properly service each our customers. We have added a specialized customers service manager to handle our customers every need. Our accounting and dispatching is computerized and fully integrated to help us serve you better.
